Friday, March 15, 2013 - Consumer Warning from Office of Attorney General - Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane is issuing a strong warning today about a potential scam. Agents have been getting many complaints that people pretending, either in person or on the phone, to be employees of PPL or Duquesne light (depending on the part of the state they are in) are offering a new low- rate energy product that actually raises consumers’ rates significantly.
The Office of Attorney General issues this warning: be very careful of this kind of sales approach, whether it is a robo-call or a door-to-door solicitation.Testimony Of Tanya J.
